Our Lives in the Limelight
The idea is to create and issue an online magazine for teenagers. Therefore the 13-16 year - olds, participating in the mutual project, will use their own experience, observe different fields of life, write articles, take photos, draw pictures and make animations, videos to be placed in the magazine.
The shared information about lifestyles (family, food, music, sport, holidays, hobbies), school systems, school life, the regions / areas in which students live (interesting places, its development, job market) as well as attitudes in relation with the environment (water/energy use) will promote a better understanding of various ways of European life and broaden the students’ minds .
The aim of the project is to cooperate in a practical and theoretical way, using modern technologies to communicate, different teaching methods and come together in both real-life and magazine-life. To motivate the students even more we will use different teaching methods.
The students will create an online magazine open for every participant to write in. A paper version of the magazine will be issued twice a year and it will include 2 CDs with all animations, videos, presentations which students produced for the magazine and it will be distributed to local schools and institutions.
The final products will be a website and two parts of a paper version of the magazine with two CDs.
During the project at the schools and at the partner meetings the teachers, taking into consideration students’ opinions, will evaluate the results and set goals for the next period.
The teachers will develop more knowledge of using ICT and integrate different teaching methods as Cooperative Learning (CL) and Learning Styles (LS).
