A Greek look on Portugal
"At school there was no bell ringing for the break or when classes start. All the boys had a certain type of haircut which was long and untidy hair. Another different thing was their starter which was always a delicious soup".
Alexandros – Greece. "In Portugal they have lunch and dinner very early. The way of kissing is different because they kiss from the left to the right. Most of the children have a bath in the morning and they don’t dry their hair even in the winter. Furthermore, they sit down on the floor wherever they want."
Kyriaki – Greece. "The children in Portugal were like us and we had many things in common. Of course there were some differences like the fact that they had meals at specific times every day. At school there was no bell ringing but the kids knew where they had to go every time. During the break there were no teachers in the courtyard looking after the students. Another thing was that there was no central heating at school."

"Children don’t have any homework after school and they don’t go to language centres. Children eat healthily and the number of obese kids is minimal. People have baths in the morning."
Pavlos – Greece. People in Portugal eat soup before each meal and their traditional dish is the cod fish which is cooked in many different and sometimes unusual ways. They have a bath early in the morning and kids go to school without drying their hair. At school the way classes take place is different from Greece. There are some ladies who take care of the children during the break and they do other kinds of things too, like cleaning.
